Model 8000 boxes provide an inexpensive delivery system where only a single compartment is required.

Model 8000 with optional pedestal.
- 12″ (width) by 12″ (height) by 17 3/4″ (depth);
- Maintenance-free;
- Heavy 16 gauge satincoat steel construction;
- Heavy gauge steel pedestal or wall bracket optional;
- Box and pedestal primed and finished with a baked enamel finish (brown standard – optional colours available on quantity orders);
- 1/4″ Aluminum plate doors with a brushed grain texture with clear finish;
- Front may be fitted with postal lock for mail distribution or with a private lock for internal data exchange; and,
- Rear door fitted with 5 pin cam style lock with 3 keys.
Installation
Model 8000 can be installed in 3 different ways.
Thru-wall installation diagram.
A thru-wall installation involves setting the box within a wall, such that its opposite openings each face a different environment (for example, oustide vs. inside, or separate interior rooms).
Optional wall bracket.
Model 8000 comes with an optional wall bracket enabling a sturdy wall installation.
Pedestal diagram.
An optional 41″ tall pedestal made of 2″ by 3″ tubular steel featuring a 11.5″ by 13″ base can be used to mount the collection boxes. Alternatively, a mounting plate can be provided for installation on an existing post (subject to local postal approval).
